​​Program:

​

Arrival day - we pick you at the airport on the arrival day, drive you to Nikkaluokta with a possible stop at the supermarket. After arrival at Nikka you will be taken to your room and handed all necessary material. After a short briefing everyone goes to sleep.

 

 

Second day - after 30 mins of briefing around helicopter we get on and start your heli ski adventure. There will be two groups rotating on the same helicopter in order to make things more efficient. 45 min lunch break will take place after a few hours of riding where hot drinks and snacks will be served. More riding after lunch until your guide decides to fly back.

Welcome dinner will take place on the first ski day.

 

 

Last day - there is no skiing on the departure day unless late departure.

What is included:

• heli guide

• accommodation for 5 nights in double rooms directly in the heli base. Common kitchen, bathrooms and a sauna.

• simple heli lunch on the slope

• welcome dinner in the local sami restaurant

• 3 hours of helitime (approx 10.000 vertical meters of skiing)

• airport pickup and drop off

• freeride/touring skis and poles rental

• avalanche bags rental

 

Extra costs: 

• plane ticket to and from Kiruna

• breakfasts, dinners (except for the welcome one), it is possible to order half board at the sami restaurant in the main building

• extra heli time (650,- EUR/hr/p.p. with full helicopter)

Downday activities:

In case of bad weather there are following options:

• Ice fishing – fishing on a frozen lake close to Nikkaluokta is a unique Swedish experience (included)

• Ski tour and ice climbing - we have an incredibly beautiful and easy ice fall approx 2 hrs of skinning from Nikkaluokta. It is called Heart and offers beautiful scenery (ice climbing and ski touring gear as well as the program is included)

• Jukasjarvi Ice Hotel - is a world famous ice hotel located close to Kiruna approx one hour drive from Nikkaluokta. It is best to combine Jukasjarvi with a snowmobile tour in the nearby area - approx 1.400,- SEK pp

• Our own snowmobile can also make access to the mountains and lakes easier on the downdays. If the weather clears up there is no need to keep on skitouring – our pilot can simply just pick us up where we are and we start heliskiing....
